One last check!

You are about to start your application for an Apprenticeship Programme. These programmes are funded by the apprenticeship levy and the funding is made available to you on the following basis:

  1. You will complete work based activities and reflective activities to build your professional skills and behaviours.
  2. You will attend regular coaching and development calls with a BPP representative.
  3. You will undertake a final assessment at the end of your programme to achieve your professional status.
  4. You may complete a professional qualification relevant to your role to build your professional knowledge (Depending on your programme of choice).

Once you’re accepted on to the programme, it is important to note that this must be completed.

Please check the following before proceeding:

I have discussed the programme with my line manager and they have approved my application on the basis that this is the best programme to meet my personal development at this time.

My line manager and I have reviewed the Key Facts Document for the programme I am applying for and agree that I'm in the right role for this programme.

I'm aware that I'll need time during working hours to complete this programme and my line manager has confirmed they can support me with this.

I am aware that I will need to attend an induction and complete some learning activities on the start date of the programme.

Functional Skills - English and Maths

If you do not already hold GCSE (or equivalent) grade 4 (C) or above in English Language and Maths or are unable to provide acceptable evidence of this, you will be required to undertake additional qualification(s) which must be achieved prior to the final assessment.

Functional Skills Maths and English qualifications have been designed to help learners of all ages and levels, supporting them to develop and demonstrate the practical skills needed in real-life situations confidently.
Level two Functional Skills requires up to four assessments to be passed;

  1. Reading
  2. Writing
  3. Speaking, Listening and Communicating
  4. Mathematics

These qualifications are at the same level as the equivilent GCSEs however do not have the same breadth, instead focusing on real-life application of these practical skills. Our onboarding team will identify if you’ll need to complete any of these elements and will provide further information once you have submitted your application.
